Sonya May As I begin the next chapter of this portion of my educational journey, I face the challenge of deciding what my ultimate education goal will be. There are numerous factors that must be considered when making this decision. One of those factors is determining if Walden University will provide the type of educational setting that is needed to reach my goal.
Many people decide on a career path early in their lives and keep to it. This, they argue, leads to a more satisfying working life. Career Path at Early Age Choosing the right career could be a challenging decision making for working life regarding many factors. Among them are the practical concerns of salary and employment prospects, as well as the valued advice from educators and family.
Because which profession to be chose and how far the choice provides you with the growing opportunity within a career, some people choose a certain types of jobs based on the high demand of the job market while others decide to be employed with positions which provide them with high salary range.
Plus, another group of people prioritize career choice due to their talents and interest. In some cases, after 10 years on the job, people declaring they chose the wrong career path is abysmally high, barely 1 in 10 really like what they do.
This matter is usually known as one of the biggest barrier to the progress of people working life. In order to be successful with a career, I am strongly convinced that the choosing the right career path in their early lives and keep to it provides us with three main reasons.
To begin with, when you have a career path, you can match your career with your talent and personal satisfaction. Success, happiness and job satisfaction are only few of those elements that keep you inspired through out in your professional life.
Usually, when you have a dreamed career, you have chance to think and plan in advance on which careers are matched with our talents. As the result, you will be placed into the favorite position, which you are more certain to demonstrate a high performance at work. For instance, if you are born with computer software coding talent, you will definitely work much better than performing any administrative roles.
The reason is that you are more motivated than doing other jobs because you are using your talent at work.
Furthermore, when you have more fun doing your favorite job. In other words, a career plan consistent with your talents produces high performance as well as job satisfaction. Secondly, having a certain career path results in clear goal of career movement in the future.
Firstly, it is important that you know the destination of your career journey so that you can keep yourself on the right track. For example, if you are goal is to be a Finance Manager in the next five years, you can plan your career development to be promoted gradually to reach your goal.
Next, having a clear career movement plan, you are will be able to facilitate yourself with further education in order to meet and compete in the job market. Then if you are already satisfied with your degrees earned, you may need more professional training courses- in and out of the country.
Anyway, if you are not sure how to develop your career, you can seek someone who is in the role.
